Tips Using Essential Oils

These are successfully used in several ways and have many benefits. There are some oils that work very well in being a natural bug repellent and pesticide. One essential oil that works against bugs is the Citronella essential plant oil. Some of the other essential oil bug repellents are lavender, and peppermint. Although these oils are put into candles, they too can be used in concentrated form by putting a few drops around the inside windows and doors when they are open during the warm months. But when using any essential oil, take precautions not to put were your pets or children will have direct contact to skin with any concentrated oils, no direct contact onto fragile areas of décor. Citronella, peppermint and lavender bug repellent candles can be bought almost anywhere during the spring and summers for enjoying the outdoors in the evenings without all the warm weather bugs around.

Essential oils are known to be natural energy boosters through the aromas in the air being taken in while breathing. Certain blends of essential oils are proven to provide specific synergistic therapeutic actions when taken in through the air in a work area or throughout your home. These correctly blended oils will give a greater benefit when working together than if the oils are independently working in an area. Proper blending is always important for reaping the maximum benefits of what you desire the specific oils to do. There are many varieties of already properly blended types of candles that can be purchased in most all natural stores and shops. These shops also usually contain all of what is needed to blend your own oils and candle making items for being able to make your very own blends of candles. It is very important though to remember that essential oils are flammable, so caution and proper usage is very important.
